Mask making workshops will introduce students to the principles and techniques of mask design, making and finishing. In all workshops students will have the opportunity to explore a range of masks.
Mask making workshops last between 2 – 5 half day sessions depending on requirements and are suitable for KS1 through to GCSE, Diploma, Btec and Undergraduates.
Masks can be made to a particular theme, set of characters, topic or as part of a drama or storytelling project.
Older students are encouraged to independantly research and develop a mask design focusing on their area of interest.
All dramask mask making projects can be followed with a mask into performance workshop using the students masks.
Dramask also delivers playful mask technique workshops suitable for KS3 and above using sets of masks designed by Pyn Stockman.
